Part 2






1930's
This era had more realistic portrayals of women, but they were still in drawing form, not photograph for the most part. There is a definite emphasis on the aristocratic, so advertising cheap products that are usually used by the wealthy. There is also still a lot about youth, and again most of these advertising pitches are made through writing and stories instead of through simply pictures, although there are slightly more images present than in the last decade. There is a slight mention of more sexuality, and that the goal of the products is to draw men to women, but it still seems as though that was a risky topic.
